What's the name of that one in New Orleans where you get 100 bucks if you make it all the way through?

I liked both but would give a alight nod to the mortuary. However there is a bar and people sellig shots at the house of shock so if you wait in line, at least you can drink. 13th gate is a good one, fun. I want to go to the escape rooms at 13th gate.

I really like the haunted hotel we went to in vegas.

The problem is the good haunted houses just get too crowded, then they just become a line of people shuffling through.

Yea at 13th gate they try to stagger the groups but some move faster than others and catch up to the detriment of everyone's experience.

I went to House of Shock about 15 years ago. There was a swamp scene and I got drilled in the balls by an animatronic alligator while I wasn't paying attention

Would not recommend

There used to be a haunted house in an old hotel on St. Charles early 2000's. It was called a "psychological" haunted house and was pretty awesome. Each hotel room had a theme... One was a businessman suicide, one had a cracked out prostitute that kept hitting on everyone in the group, men and women alike. She had track marks and bruises and totally portrayed an out of it hooker. There was a serial killers room in process of making a skin suit, a crazy butcher in the hotel kitchen, a weird maze, killer clown etc. It ended in the hotel bar on the first floor where everyone got a drink ticket with price of admission.
It was a pretty cool, unique concept.

That wasn't a haunted house, that was just a regular hotel (and it was on Tulane Ave, not St. Charles Ave.).

I've been to all mentioned above....unless the house of shock has changed, it was by far the one that put a bad taste in my mouth...it was just fricked up and made u feel just off...

What truely scares people anymore...nothing....but to be like "dayum, there is no shame here and makes u feel like you swallowed a bone"...go to the house of shock

A house that is designed to scare people has never been scary to me because.. I am expecting them to scare me. But if they charge $25 a head, good for them. It seems like people love that shite.

I have been to mortuary last year and was ok. 13th gate is exceptional and constantly ranked as top ten in America
