House fire today in Denham Springs (w/ video & pic)

So.... Why were the firefighters spraying the smoke? The jet of water was going clear over the fire and house....

I can't tell if those are too classy for a space heater or not. I'm betting on a candle.

Feel almost worse for their neighbors.
All that smoke/smell and having to look at a boarded up burnt house.
Homeowners will get a check and move.

Apparently the fire trucks have returned and started spraying again. I'd hate to be the neighbors. Not sure I could fall asleep next to a house that the fire department can't successfully put a fire out on.

Walking into a burnt house is one of the worst smells.
I remember when I was younger, my grandfather built and had a rental house behind my parents house.
Fire happened after I went to school for the day.
Don't remember the water/exterior mess, but one of those smells years later, I do remember.
Etd. Fire was started by a cigarette the renter didn't put out properly.
