. The Inglewood Mall is located just east of downtown Morgan City Louisiana at the corner of 9th and Brashear Rd. (1025 Victor II Blvd), in a city of over 12,000 residents. The mall is shaped in a cross pattern with no large department store anchors and entrances on three sides. The small corridor on the south side of the mall does not have an outside entrance. Unfortunately the mall doors were locked on the 1st visit (on a weekend), so I could not go inside. On my second visit during the week the doors were open, and so were a few offices. This mall featured an A and G Cafeteria, The Computer People store, K and B, and was built in the 1970's. Currently a Tampico Restaurant, Lake Cinema, a bank, and a few offices are open for business. There is no online information about what happened to this mall; we would appreciate any comments that can tell us more about this mall. The mall was obviously built in an area that could not support a mall with a large enough population. Any comments about some more stores that were here in the past or important events will be appreciated.

Plus, I'm nostalgic about spending so many great nights getting trashed at Rene's.

Rene's in Thib is perfect. Go see Hick and you'll have a favorite beertender for life! Grew up on Thibodaux and often miss living there.

This is the most redeeming thing about Morgan City and IT'S in Berwick.

Thibodaux and it’s not close. Houma is dying and Morgan City is dead. The only thing to so in those places is meth. Thibodaux is a small town, but it has its merits.

No it not, but there is another Tampicos restaurant in Bayou Vista. The main restaurant and its main offices are in Morgan City.

There’s also Tampicos in New Iberia and Laffy as well

I disagree, but I only get a steak, so I can't speak for the rest of the menu.

Thibodaux has a solid food scene for its size though.

The Tampicos has held up though. I still enjoy eating there when I go home.

It's worth noting that Morgan City has strong Italian roots, especially compared to the area. It's a unique place in South Louisiana, but probably not charming.
