It’s funny to see the contrast on the OT between a story where a Muslim commits a crime and a story where a catholic priest commits a crime.
Don’t see near as many posters who extrapolate the priests actions to make a sweeping generalization about the religion they come from.

If you think it's been bad the last 50-60 years, think about how much molesting was probably going on in the church between the middle ages through the 1800's.

It doesn't work like that. A person has to actually be sexually attracted to children.. Thinking about that is sick.. But what I am saying is that do you think people get so horny they become a child predator? If it was just a situation in which a priest just wants to have sex, they could get it. There are women out there who would be willing just because it's "forbidden fruit". Or they can hire a hooker. That would be less risky than molesting a child.. Someone who does molest children does so because they are sick fricks.

Molesters are not created by organizations, molesters are drawn to groups that work with kids.

The question you should really be asking yourself is why are you willingly part of an organization that actively has sought to cover up hundred if not thousands of cases of pedophilia and sex abuse across decades if not centuries? Do you really think that organization is of God? If you do, I feel pity for you.
