Moved out of houma last year and honestly don’t miss anything besides family members. Traffic sucks, terrible public schools and not enough open spaces outside of the marsh. Now the fishing was second to none but the city itself leaves much to be desired. Never thought I would feel that way but this last year In Mississippi has changed my mind.

Just a much slower pace of life here and the people are very friendly. Not to mention houses are about 30% cheaper than Houma while bare land is a fraction of the cost. Can buy 40+ acres for the cost of a lot in Ardoyne plantation.
