You know, you're right. When I was a kid they were at just about every hotel. Haven't seen one in a coon's age. Didn't notice until you mentioned it!

Lawyers killed them and monkey bars and real m-80s and all of that fun stuff. The baby boomers played with all that shite and it disappeared while we were in our 20s. It was the democratic party lawyers and judges that were part of the greatest generation that killed them. fricking trial lawyers and stupid jurists. The insurance companies had to cover too much of the tab and were forced out of covering the fun stuff. That left all the people that provided the fun stuff without insurance protection so they just threw in the towel.

You're right. If the pool is large enough. Problem is always with the slope. A grown man dives out. By the time his momentum is slowing down he is probably in 5-6 feet of water with most pool designs. Better have your hands ready. Lol.
