Cooked 5lbs chicken thighs yesterday, 3 ways. Probably do the boiled as chicken and dumplings tonight with biscuits. The butter and black pepper baked was really good, as was the tomato soup and spices with fresh diced tomato also baked.

The round thyme bread I baked last night would go really well some more of the tomato thighs. Or I could go with a tomato and thyme bread sandwich.

Decisions, decisions. At least I finished off the baked cheese grits for breakfast so eliminated that from the choices. Chips and the makings for queso always on hand.

Mom took half a pound cake she baked out of the freezer yesterday too so could microwave a slice with a cup of hot coco.

Grits have me full enough still to keep considering options.

Reheating chicken stew for when we are ready for lunch.

Thanks for reminding me I have Bloody Mary ingredients. Good job everybody!

I grilled some NY strips late yesterday afternoon. They were good but it sure wasn’t pleasant tending to them outside in the cold.

She kept saying yesterday that we were having mimosas with breakfast but that never happened. If they start drinking I suppose I will as well.

We have 8 inches of snow on top of 2 inches of ice.

It’s that dry snow. You can’t make a proper snowball with it.

That actually looks really good, but coming from you there is no telling what you really have there.

I do this meal several times a week, cheap and easy.

Dozen Drumsticks
1/2 stick melted margarine brushed on drumsticks
Big Mike's BBQ (Poultry Rub) in layers
Bake - Oven @ 400F for 20mins to Cook
Broil - Oven on Low Broil for 5mins to Finish

Was your electricity blinking off an on this morning?

A branch on one of my trees in the back yard broke off, smashing my fence and hitting my neighbor's house (it didn't do any damage other than the fence)...

We bought four half gallons of vodka this weekend

We’re already into the second so I’m scared we’re gonna run out
