I mean they still could have mass produced more vents, brought in medical ships, maybe even let 3rd year medical residents that graduate residency in May/June finish early. The alternative to lockdown, doesn’t have to be “nothing”

No way our governments, fed, state and local and all parties, are anywhere near as efficient or nimble enough to do any of that effectively and timely.

Orleans and Jefferson Parishes should have been put on lock down by the Guard 3 weeks ago.

We’re all suffering because they’re using those infections to justify measures taken across the entire state. It’s bullshite.

November? You’ve got to be shitting me.

Can’t wait for JBE to get on tv asking for money and raising taxes. You know that’s coming.

Way to go LA.

Can Texas just annex Lafayette westward to Lake Charles for God's sake ?

So if I’m reading it correctly, baseline is actually best scenario because new cases drop off sooner than all other scenarios

frick JBE. We’re doing everything we can in my family to follow orders and ‘flatten the curve’. Getting a little sick of being scolded on a daily basis for ‘not doing our part’. These motherfrickers have gotten a taste of absolute power and they only want more. Their minds have been made up for weeks that June/July is a best case scenario. I know a lot of people hate Trump but from a big picture standpoint, he’s right. We cannot go on like this forever. There must be a middle ground. Our economy/civilization can only last so long under these conditions.

Not to mention something like seasonal depression. Usually happens in areas where there isn’t a lot of sunlight during winter months. Can only imagine the mental toll it would take to be isolated for the better part of 3 months

This is pretty contradictory to every libtard and #StayAtHome skyscreamer. The sooner we let this bad boy run thru the general population the sooner we get the show back on the road.

I'm sorry.
I meant.

On what grounds is the lawsuit being filed?

Unlawful seizure? Or something like that?

From what we’ve seen from models, they have been anything but accurate thus far. Not sure how much stock I would put in their projections at this point, whether the outcome is good or bad.
