Not sure if she is with HMC (the new buyer's group) but she has more years than me so I presume so

jmarto1, what are your hopes from the ownership change? What changes would you like to see that will make things better?

The talent is a little better in Denham Springs.

They should pay whatever it takes to put Sydney Sweeney in an ad campaign. Give her stock if she wants it. That would save the franchise.

The originals guys that have had success is a good start. We already won the battle of the shorts. From a national standpoint they need to reinvest in their stores. I am just ready for the sale to be completed so the franchise I work for can focus on expanding

I knew a woman who had her 12 year old son's birthday party at the Hooters on Corporate Blvd. back in the 1990's. Couldn't believe it. Some of her trashy friends brought their kids too, but it was mostly adults in attendance.
I have a woman cousin whose 16-year-old daughter wanted to go to Hooters for her 16th birthday, so that's where they went.
Here's the backstory:
My cousin had a sister who was killed by a maniac when she was 12 (in a small community near Tampa). At first, we thought she had just disappeared, so there was a massive, week-long search for her. It was widely reported that she was wearing a Hooters jacket when she disappeared. Her step-dad and mother (my first cousin) went there enough for the two sisters to enjoy it.
When Hooters corporate found out about her wearing the jacket, they became very supportive of the search, providing food and other logistics.
Unfortunately, the sister was found dead a week later. Now, 30+ years later, we are awaiting the trial of the person indicted for the murder (he was identified after 30 years because his son committed a crime that required him to surrender DNA, which popped positive on our case--the son couldn't have done it, so they checked the father).
Hooters has been good to the family over the years and they have a loyalty to it.
Personally, I've never lived where they are convenient.

Thank you for posting. I’ve been waiting for the right reasons to support this honorable establishment and those hard working young ladies just trying to afford baby formula any way they can.
