Years ago I was with an old codger I worked with when a fine young scholar pulled up at the gas pump next to us with his radio thumping at earthquake level. The old man yelled “turn that shite down”. The young man of course ignored him and proceeded into the gas station.
The old man walked over to the car, reached in, pulled out the keys, and proceeded to toss those keys into the adjacent field with a throw Joe Montana would envy.
I sure hope this moment didn’t cause the young school to miss any class time or work.

They were probably on call, in a critical role, and in a hurry to respond and get to the office.

So entitled. Will spend 300 plus to get hair and nails done but wont pay the bill to help the waitress make her bills.

Back in college when I waited tables we called a certain type of customer, "boof dawgs." We closed at 11 on the weekends and they would pile in at 10:55. By this time there was one waiter/waitress left and 95% of the restaurant was cleaned. You go to seat them and it was always, "We wanna sit in a both." Not only were you stuck there an extra hour, you weren't making a dime.
