It's been officially a year since I moved to Whitefish, MT and am pretty proud to call it my [new] hometown:

Who else loves where they live?

It's paradise from June-September. The other 8 months are pretty grim.

Yeah, sounds like a real melting pot you've got going on up there.

Whitefish isn't your "hometown".

Yeah, I spent a few months in Billings MT.

Fuuuuuuuk that shite. There's a reason Montana is #2 on the suicide list.

You can only go to Walmart and Pizza Ranch so many times before you give the frick up.

It's a 30 min drive from GNP and has a huge ski mountain (hence the name, Big Mountain).

Whitefish used to be pretty rowdy and still is in a way, but the smug crowd is definitely encroaching. Lots of Californians in MT these days.

I drive up there from Missoula a couple times a year on ave and always enjoy it.

I actually saved the town from certain death via fire this summer when I discovered a cigarette-ignited burning bush from the patio of Pescado Blanco (Mexican restaurant). CSB.

I'll bet your new Whitefish neighbors have a different opinion of the past year.

Kidding (probably), glad you're happy.
