Fine - give them a place to do so bordered by heavy Concertina wire outside of city centers.

How is this any different than being robo-called by politicians begging you for money so that they can get a job where they get more of your money while doing nothing? Is it the pant suits?

It’s honestly the best most realistic solution. But will obviously never happen.

A LOT of them don’t want help. They want to live in tents and do drugs.
This. You can't help someone who refuses to help themselves.

I went to Denver last year to see my friend and I never see homeless people here in Ms, maybe because it’s too hot or out state governments wouldn’t put up with homelessness .. it was staggering in downtown Denver the entire sidewalks were littered with tents and homeless people and syringes
I was on edge walking through that because I didn’t know if we would be assaulted or worse . It was an eerie feeling
I would love to see a time lapse of downtown Denver over the past 10 years. It was an almost pristine downtown 15 years ago. The decline from that to an outdoor homeless shelter has been staggering.

They are a problem, but there is a certain group who is about to get $5,000,000 for doing absolutely nothing at all. Also they attack all others.

Do you actually take these calls? If so, you're just dumb. I don't see what point you're trying to make

What about the military bases they shut down in the 90s?

I also don't make eye contact with soda lady, but I didn't ask to compare responses.

Good, they can donate to the homeless.

Agree that being solicited constantly when you just want to go about your day is extremely annoying.
Also, living in Austin where we were being overrun for a minute there, I have come to a few realizations about homelessness:
-There is a real mixed bag when it comes to this group. Some would love help (and deserve it), many don't want it at all and are mentally ill, addicts, or both.
-I have no solutions for this complex problem but I want the people who don't want to help themselves, the parasites, to frick off and find new hosts.
-A lot of people are only a few missed paychecks away from being faced with homelessness.

The amount of people that defend the homeless is unbelievable. There are FAR more resources available for those folks than the average middle class family that’s really struggling right now.

Roughly 1/3rd to 1/5th (depending on the study) of those who are homeless are veterans.
Why do you hate our troops?
Personally, I support our veterans. But hey, that’s just me.
