It's trashy especially when you have a garage. People who use garages as storage are psychopaths.

We have a 2 car garage but only my wife parks in it.
It would be pretty tight to fit both vehicles and I'm not even sure that my truck would fit. I just park in the driveway. Luckily our driveway runs past the garage so I don't have to block the whole thing up.

my wife's suv and my truck stay parked in the garage and my work truck stays in the driveway. The only time I park the work truck on the street is if we have company over or I am doing something that I need the whole driveway like my son riding his bike. It never stays on the street overnight.

Not an option with a lot of newer homes that go from lot line to lot line and have front load garages. Usually in HOAs that would prohibit a parking pad like that. Drive down a street where the houses have front load garages and there are always cars parked on the road, especially at night.
It is one of the reasons why we will always have a side load garage if we buy in a neighborhood (which is our reality as long as we have school age kids). With side loads there is usually room for the driveway to go a little past the garage opening for two more cars to park and still get in and out of the garage. We had to extend ours when we moved in but it wasn't expensive and was HOA approved. We can park four cars and not have to play tetris when one needs to get out. And we still have the rest of the driveway for guests.

If you don’t have a garage or a driveway it’s a different story. I’m talking about people who definitely have 2-3 car garages and plenty of driveway, who live in a suburban area....who still park on the street.
For example. In my neighborhood there’s only one single home/family who seems to violate this known ordinance. They have 4-5 cars for 2-3 people. Garage is full of shite. And conveniently enough are trashy AF too.
weeds in the landscaping.
leaves everywhere.
lawn full of weeds.
shite muts who bark all day long.
My point is, it’s not surprising they also park on the street

My wife hates the garage in the front style. When we were house shopping 5 years or so ago it was an immediate disqualification for her.

My favorites in the neighborhood are the people with the King Ranch f250 and the BMX X5, but not enough room in their driveway. It's a newer cookie cutter suburban neighborhood. If you can afford those vehicles, you can afford a house with proper parking. No need to park your truck in the street so that it blocks to the point only 1 car can pass.
Personally, if my cars fit in the garage without junk, I'm using the garage to park. Now some garages are too small for 2 vehicles, I realize that. Ut we have an oversized garage and couldn't imagine not using it. So much more convenient.
