I remember the good old days where you had to go the the physical venue and wait in a real line to buy tickets.

Ended up with 4 200-level seats to Sunday in Atlanta in the Cap One Pre-sale, which was basically last choice, but the first through the queue.

I got through the queue with pair seats available to Sunday night in Nashville but every time I clicked one it was taken.

Just an FYI for people trying to do stuff like this, if you try to select specific seats, they will usually get sniped. I have better results selecting “best available,” because it takes out the step to confirm the choice and adds them right to your cart. Just keep doing that and releasing the seats if you don’t like them.

There wasn't even an option for selecting seats, just sections/rows. I should have gone for cheaper first but a few floor and VIP packages were available. Or... were showing as available v

What a shitshow that was. Tried to buy in Boston, Denver, Los Angeles, and Seattle. Couldn’t get in anywhere.

I got on in time for the 2pm start for Cap One presale. I was in queue for 20 minutes only. Then everytime I added tickets, it would either just sit there saying sit back or say someone else grabbed them. It did that for an hour. I ended with no tickets.

Same exact experience.

Friday and Saturday died in the queue.

WASHINGTON — As a result of the extremely high demand for Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, Ticketmaster has canceled Friday's general public sale, citing an "insufficient remaining ticket inventory."

The announcement comes days after Ticketmaster sold over 2 million tickets to Swift's 52-date stadium tour, a record for most ticket sales for one artist in a day. Overwhelming demand on Tuesday's Verified Fan pre-sale led the site to crash, sparking widespread fan outrage.

How can it be overwhelming demand when the company itself sent out the codes and knew how many people would be accessing the servers?

Did they not think people would show up with the access information they provided.

My wife told me the same exact story when she tried buying tickets for our daughter and her friends. Im sure the scalpers got theirs though. And someone at TicketMaster is going to have a really good bonus just in time for Christmas.

I have no idea ... also the limit was 6 tickets. My daughter-in-law got 6 but had to split it 3 and 3 which is fine for her and her friends. She got to her turn and then TM kicked her out but somehow she got right back in and didn't wait long (waited HOURS for the first time).

She got I think 300 level in Houston. She was happy. Said $250 including fees per ticket.

Let’s say they send out 25,000 codes per show. Those codes get shared, and 25,000 turns into 40,000. Then add people trying to access without a code, bots trying to brute force guess a code, servers can go down quick.

No you couldn't share the code .. if you logged into a second device with the same login/code one device got kicked out. SO anyone sharing a code with a friend could get jipped depending on the friend.

ALSO, the code was SPECIFIC to the date you signed up for. Could NOT get into other queues.

Yes! I have two I accidentally purchased for the wrong night in Houston I'll be selling. This should pay for Christmas. They're in the nosebleeds, but I should more than make my money back.

I only need 2 of my 6 so hopefully I will be able to sell the other 4.

Tuesday, I was in the Verified Fan queue on Seatgeek for the Dallas show. It was a joke. After 14 hours, it finally said that there were no more tickets available. And that’s with a presale code. It’s not a big deal, it would have been a nice surprise, but it wasn’t like I had a child or grandchild begging to go.

Any chance they are for Saturday night, and not $1000 higher than you paid? Lol
