Does the OT let her slide or say “you’re welcome” and get the crazy pissed off stare from her?

Well, you have insulted her by assuming she can't hold the door for herself. You've subjugated her to your male dominance. You're lucky she didn't slit your throat when she walked by.

Holding the door open shouldn't require a verbal thank you every time. A smile and nod is just fine, its not a very difficult thing to do.

Are you doing it for the recognition of doing it or because that’s how you were raised? Just wondering..

If she's hot, glad I took the time and gesture regardless of her response while enjoying her arse or cleavage ; ugly rude fatty, instantly hate myself for trying to be nice to everyone

I don't care if someone says thank you when I hold the door open for them

How dare you assume that she wanted you to open the door for her?!

Me neither - its just kind of a natural thing when you walk through to hold it open and not let it slam on the person behind you.

Do it everytime.

IDK if there is a response.

People like you are the worst, you’re not actually polite, you’re self serving.

I usually don't do it, except for women who are wearing yoga pants. And then I'm usually the one saying "thank you."

We do nice things unconditionally. When you understand that, reread the OP.

Like I told my 5 year old when some little shitstain was calling her names at the park yesterday, just ignore them. Their bad behavior is not an excuse for you to exhibit the same bad behavior.

But his mom was playing on her phone the whole time so I expect he probably doesn’t have much of a chance of having really good discipline at home.
