I was too young at the time to really understand what it meant but I had just started watching wrestling as an 8 year old and little did I know this would kick off the wrestling run that defined my childhood

Greatest angle/stable in wrestling history.

That was a great time to be a fifteen years old.

Wrestling was better than the NFL. And the ratings showed it. FFB saved their arse a few years later.

The NWO years in WCW was by far the greatest time to be a wrestling fan. So many great moments during that run.
I remember the Advocate used to have a 1-800... wrestling hotline you could call for updates and rumors.

Hogan was always a heel, only Bobby Heenan was smart enough to see it

I was in the Ocean Center that night.

Greatest heel turn, for sure. The takeover angle had been done before, but never with that national stage.
As far as the stable goes, 75% of the locker room would end up being nWo. Too much talent was left sitting on the bench, and it was to the detriment of the company.
It was a hell of a run for a few years, though, especially for an 11-12 year old me.

Dave hernandez. I remember when he announced he had mad out with a chick at the bar that weekend.

I remember walking through the student union the next morning and hearing people talking about it who weren't even wrestling fans.
