My favorite are the rich white people who drop in on Cuba or other repressed, poverty stricken countries and return with tales of how amazingly “ simple “ life is there. I have a special place in my heart for these dip in and dip out tourists.

Yall all need to go to the forest in Germany.

Quite the experience. Youll 100% think differently after you visit this place because you will start thinking.

Second, I have spent my adult travelling life trying to convince people that we don't wrestle alligators every time we leave the house down here. Then some housewife will film a gator on her porch after a big rain and it goes viral and all my friends out of state say "SEE!!!" Pisses me off every time.

You should lean into it. All my tennis friends thought I was lying about S. La until I killed a snake on our court with my tennis racquet. A legend was born and they are all a little scared of me now.

We should keep this alive!

I'm interested in what type workplace he thinks you drive your boat up to.

I’m an engineer and was doing some work at one of their power plants. I had to explain that the whole state didn’t look like Swamp People and that Baton Rouge was just a regular city.

Then they were like, but do you ever see gators? I did have to say yes to that one though.

You can actually boat right up to all the plants. I haven't met anyone that lives on River Rd and boats to a Power or Chem Plant. It is possible though.

Something happens to people in Louisiana…. Either all of Louisiana is just like NOLA or everyone is living in the swamps hunting alligators
