Reasonable people say cut SUNO.

If they can't touch Suno there is no hope

Reasonable people say amend the State Constitution and stop having to cut from only education and health care.

Also, there was not one mention of F King in the article. I think he's terrible, FWIW.

None of them will ever say close this other school. Not sure how that's Alexander's fault.

OP has never in his time on TD made one single post that isn't about Alleva or F King. He has to save face.

Just what we need. More cuts to education so we can create a bigger wage gap, more poverty and more ignorant people that leads to higher crime areas. This state is a mess.

If you read the article, it says that the current proposed budget fully funds all higher education at last year's levels but would significantly cut TOPS.

There are more than one reasonable option, that is true.
I just wonder why the chosen option is never among the reasonable options.

Seems to me that tops being cut benefits them. They can still get the same amount of funding but less students to spread it over. This more money for their coffers.

Your link doesn't say anything about F. King.
Tops should be cut and should be a bit harder for students to be eligible.
BUT! First the state needs to cut a lot of waste in other areas. Start with decreasing the number of state employees.

Tops drove up the price of education in Louisiana. Too much money chasing too few goods.

F. King fired a professor for cursing.

TOPS must be restructured in a manner that incentivizes graduation rather than simple attendance.

Pretty sure you only get 4 years of tops
