High School Graduation Sights and sounds

Sitting here in New Iberia watching my little brother graduate. He is an honor student btw. This has to be one of the most dreaded events of the year. The bleachers hurt and it's hot. How do y'all feel on the subject? I personally feel as though I do not need to attend. College graduation I feel is something to celebrate but not HS.

That's ridiculous.
Your dad should sue the school for the uncomfortable and hot venue

College graduation

I went to my cousin's graduation from Acadiana HS in 2008. It was in the Cajun Dome, and it was pretty fricking miserable.
It was perhaps the loudest, and most interruptive event of its kind I have ever attended. People straight up screaming when their son, daughter, brother, sister, cousin, friend, whatever were called.
My dad didn't even make it in. He slinked off to an auto show that was in the parking lot across the street. My mom was so pissed at him, but we were all quite jealous deep down.

Thanks for this. I was actually wondering how well he was doing academically.

In his defense, I think that that qualifier is a appropriate considering what kind of image a New Iberia student conjures in one's head.

My only observation of high school graduation is the louder the celebration from a family a student gets the likely lower their expectations were for them.

Way to just throw it all in our faces that your family members graduate from high school

I'm at my nephews right now. Demo Diva game the commencement address, she's a cougar but she did not give a good speach.
