Never want to live in a high rise with other people.
All it takes is 1 irresponsible person. Or just could be something electrical and no ones fault.
Still..instead of going about your day as you normally would, you have to worry about jumping or making it to a rescue. Just doesnt seem worth it.

Depends on the age of the high-rise. Modern fire codes are pretty good at lessening those chances. I'd be more scared in a 2-3 story stick-built apartment vs. a 10+ story concrete building with fire retardant and modern sprinklers all through it.
