Here's how long it's been since MTV actually paid attention to music

Jazzy Jeff. Not exactly the same thing. Some of the people who were watching immediately headed to Twitter to share pithy comments about what happened.

It was quite refreshing to be able to watch music videos on MTV instead of the usual Teen Skanks Season 5

I had Fridday night videos before MTV came around. I'm not sure if MTV plays a video any longer.

Yep, just as "Video Killed the Radio Star" (the 1st video aired on MTV for those that don't know), this crap killed the video star. I miss Martha Quinn, Nina Blackwood, Mark Goodman, JJ Jackson, and Alan Hunter.

I stayed somewhere the other day that had a channel called MTV Live, it was great. I'm not even sure Cox or any local providers offer this channel though. Wish they still played more of this and less reality TV crap.
