It says hospitals are reinstating mask mandates.
Hospitals are nasty and filled with sick people so if there is one place to wear a mask, I would think it would be a hospital.

First off, screw mask mandates.
Secondly, I’m on day two of having the flu and this was WAY worse than when I had Covid near the beginning of football season.

Masks do help when it comes to preventing the spread of illnesses.
If someone spits on your mouth, you are more likely to get sick than if they spit on your mask.

Everything from the article suggests it’s not even exclusively due to COVID but due to the incidences of flu and RSV as well (which masks do help slow down transmission of).
Considering how nasty it is right now with all three spreading around, I have no issue wearing them in medical settings like a hospital.
