people who take DMT describe their trips very similarly to NDE descriptions. It is entirely possible that the body releases DMT when close to death which triggers the visions.

I'm pretty sure something along those lines has already been proven. The whole "I saw a light" thing was explained anyway.

It is very simple. Accept Jesus and admit that you are not perfect by asking for forgiveness for your sins.

500 years ago your boy Martin Luther removed the Deuterocanonical books from the Bible. One of those was II Maccabees. In that book you'll see that people clearly believed that the sins of the dead could be atoned for by the living. Start there. I Corinthians 3:11-15 is another place to look.
Are you talking about the Apocrypha?

According to that. I could literally bust into your house. Kill you, bathe in your blood, rape your wife. Go to prison, find religion, repent and still go to heaven. Especially if a baptist, as they tend to believe all sin is equal in the eyes if the Lord.
Yet, let's say someone who is a Sikh or Zoastrian is a great person, lives a life of faith and saves lives and is the model of a "holy person". Under your system he goes to hell but the guy who killed you and raped your wife goes to heaven.
I say that system is flawed. Going further. I say..if God is real, then he is an a-hole.

You know it.
God's not a happy camper when people don't trust him.

So what? It's not like we're going to remember it.
Must be pretty nice opining on how "beautiful" life is while living in the wealthiest country on Earth in the most comfortable time in human history.

Please provide a link to a story where someone took DMT and met Jesus.

We live in in the memories of the lives we have touched and impacted.
Good people are loved, bad are forgotten and evil demonized.

I met Jesus yesterday. He said he's not coming back until you guys put all the crosses away.
They remind him of bad things.

Luckily you don't have to commit to Atheism. Atheism as a word shouldn't even exist, we don't have words for other non-belief in non-sense.
What do you call a person who doesn't believe in Astrology? What about a person who doesn't believe in Zeus?
What about a person who doesn't believe in Unicorns?

Your entire way of thinking is flawed.
You commit murder and are guilty. As you stand in front of the judge, about to be sentenced, you argue that you should not be put to death because a person in China has killed 10 people and has not been captured. The system is flawed and the judge is an A-Hole.
You are responsible for your own life. When you stand there on judgement day pointing your fingers at others as an excuse will not work. Stop kidding yourself. You will be held accountable for your life.

And that matters because?.....
Memories aren't necessarily pleasant.

"Good" and "evil" are just matters of preference. It changes with the whims of society.

While your at it post a link to the study that proves the body releases the recreational drug LSD upon death.

DMT is not LSD
people on DMT routinely see/meet some sort of entity and the descriptions of their experiences are similar to NDE. that is all.

See. One issue is, we have so many Dogmas.
Your anology does not jive with mine.
I'm saying all those people who thank God for helping them win a game should also blame him for losing. The people that thank him for their son coming out of surgery should blame him for cursing their son with the sickness in the first place.
You only attribute good yet you know that means he is behind the bad.
Getting back to my point.
Most Christian religions believe in repenting. So you can absolve and seek forgivenesss for sins.
My thought is some sins should be unforgivable.
My other thought is, how shitty is a deity to exclude good people only because they haven't heard his word?
