Out of curiosity, how do you intend to settle the bet in order to claim your beers? Do you demand that your friend pull out his dick to prove there are no blisters?
He likely doesn't have it if she isn't having an outbreak. If everyone who had sex with someone who had herpes immediately caught it as well, 9 out of 10 people would have herpes at this point.

You can also catch it and never have an outbreak, and then shed asymptomatically, and then spread it unknowingly. Herpes is a cruel mistress.

Right, so are they going to go get a blood test done? It's really the only way to settle it and he may have already had it anyway. I was just laughing at the thought of these two knucklehead's conversation at the point where they realize this.
