Help me decipher these cryptic fryer settings

So got this brand new never used fryer from a garage sale (had to trip AntiqueTiger to get it)
What the hell do the numbers next to the food mean?
Disregard that the apostrophe after the number usually denotes a foot measurement because I don't think there are 10 to 12 foot mushrooms, and they certainly wouldn't fit in the fryer.
So...10 to 12 mushrooms in the fryer? 5 to 6 pieces of fish, 5 to 7 donuts?
Makes sense, right?
But now it goes off the rails.
18 to 20 chickens? (Or an 18 to 20 foot tall chicken, which is terrifying).
16 to 17...French fries? (Oddly specific).
12 to 14...snowflakes? Pieces of ice?
Are we frying ice in this machine? Even state fair carnies don't attempt this feat. Not feet. Carnies would definitely fry feet.
And why is the hottest setting for ice!?
Honestly I'm lost here. Either this medium sized fryer is made for some planet with giant food...or...what?
Anyway I'm gonna try to find some snowflakes to fry.
What's your idea?
ETA: shite, it's minutes isn't it.
Then what's the ice?

Cartography uses ' to denote minutes and " to denote seconds to represent the fraction/decimal after the degree of angle.
The timing does seem fricked up though. Trial and error, my man.

If you fry those 16 foot bags of Ritz or the 12 foot snowflakes, please post the video

Has to be thaw. What happens if you need to fry a 18-20 minute thaw turkey and are instructed to cook a frozen one for 12-14 minutes?

Dude, that is telling you to cook fried chicken pieces for 18-20 minutes at 356 degrees.

If you dont understand that basic and obvious shite you have no business frying anything. You're going to set your kitchen on fire .

I've been cooking my whole life and have the hardware.
I just thought it was funny.
When frying I usually rely more on color and texture, but I do it in a black iron pot.
Looking at it now it makes sense but it was confusing in the moment. I want to fry a 10 foot mushroom and a snowflake.

I found your post to be funny.

This post reminds me of Mr Obvious several years ago. Guy went to the video store to rent a porno. He settled on "Head Cleaner', but when he played it there was only static.

Not to be an a-hole but I think the word you're looking for is "feat".
