Hedging a bet - NFL survivor

how would you hedge a bet in an NFL survivor pool?
Two weeks in and just two players left. myself included.
We both played the exact same teams the first two weeks, so we have the same teams available. I will not know till his pick plays this week if we have the same pick again.
I cant wrap my head around betting very well much less hedging.
any help is appreciated.

Ask him what game he is picking. Tell him what game you are picking. You both can keep hedging your bet and win some money.

Whoever you are picking in your survivor pool, but a little bit against them otherwise.
How much did you put in? That's the real question... you want to hedge your bet so that if you lose in the survivor pool, but win your hedge bet, you still come out ahead.
Bonus if you can make a hedge bet on a team getting points, then there's a possibility your hedge bet will cover the points and win, while your survivor pick wins the game and you advance.

Just split the pot with the other contestant. Would result in the same outcome as the hedge.

it aint much. $25 per entry.
A) Offer to split the pot with the other person. If they accept, take your $400 and move on with life.
or Offer to take $200 each guaranteed and play it out for the remaining $400.
If they don't want to, it's not hard to hedge a bet in this scenario.

The problem with hedging is that there are so many good teams left, you might both pick right the next 5 weeks. Doesn't make sense to hedge like that. I would split it 300 each, and keep playing for the extra 200
