Anyone else hearing that?

SLU has computers and internet access?
All 35 students?
All 35 students?

Honest question, if it works does a school SLU or UNO ever have physical classes again?

Southeastern has already started to convert a ton of classes to 50% online the past couple years. I don't think it would be that big of an issue besides classes that require a lab.

All universities going to online only will backfire for the faculty, as it shows that they are not needed.

I heard that they’ll let everyone know what the final decision is during home room on Friday.

Yep. They are talking about going almost all online through the end of the summer.

The brick and mortar university model is outdated anyways.
You can hold classes live online and there's services that give exams through a proctor monitoring via webcam to stop the obvious cheating that can happen with online classes.

Those programs suck and those classes attract cheaters. Most teachers turn a blind eye though

I've taken a class at LSU where they watch you take your tests through the webcam and make you sit in front of a mirror so they can see what you're doing. It's pretty big brother. You can't cheat like that.

yeah, wife (no pics) had to use Proctor U for an online course a few years ago. the webcam proctor had her move her laptop around to show the entire room she was sitting in. had to crawl in to bring her a drink during the damn test.
