Definitely not true, there are some real nasty strains of influenza.
Posted on 1/10/18 at 3:31 pm to TheIndulger
The flu vaccine is useless. It’s a guess at what the prevalent strain will be and they usually guess wrong.
I’ve never gotten it and I’ve never had the flu.
I’m all for most childhood vaccines, but the rest are needless. I firmly believe that vaccines are the cause of most autoimmune conditions.
Prevnar mat be helpful for the elderly.

It was a single vomit. It was from the fever. Got my flu swab the next day, which was positive, and then slept for a few days.

I had the flu last year and was stubborn about it at first. My stomach was killing me in the middle of the night and when I went to throw up I passed out in the bathroom. Luckily I avoided hitting my head on anything but I did vomit all over myself and the bathroom and then laid there in a pool of my vomit for quite awhile until my wife came to help me.
happened to me 3-4 years ago. My gf, now wife, was out of town visiting her family for Christmas and I was home alone. Passed out in the bathroom after vomiting end over end. Ended up missing my flight to Louisiana, which I wouldn't have went anyways. But I had to ride that shite out alone. I remember being legit scared because I felt so bad. I couldn't take a sip of water without vomiting until I passed out. Was just horrible.

It happens to multiple young people every single year. Get your shot. You can spread the flu without any symptoms.
Most people spouting off in these threads have never had or seen the actual flu. They are only thinking of common colds and stomach bugs.

Surely you know the world healthy is referring to overall health and has nothing to do with a temporary illness..

Some young people do die from the flu, but they usually have an existing illness, compromised immune system, lung condition, or some type of bacterial infection on top of the flu.
Flukes do happen though. However, most people who get a flu shot are not hospitalized and have a much milder case. Studies have shown hospitalizations from influenza are typically from those who have not been vaccinated.

Was a bodybuilder-aka roids.
Dude likely had a heavily compromised immune system.
I use to be into bodybuilding for years and they have the worse life styles in terms of what they put in their body.
They look fit on the outside but their insides are trashed and strained to their thresholds.

Roids right?

Feeling ill, the mother of two left work early Nov. 26, then trudged into Urgent Care the next day. Doctors prescribed Tamiflu and rest, but neither worked. The next day was worse. She was coughing uncontrollably, first mucous, then blood. “She looked worried. She told her mom she was having a hard time breathing,” Gonzalez told the network. Her flu had given way to pneumonia. She had trouble breathing, then slipped into unconsciousness. By Tuesday — two days after Murrieta started feeling ill — she was dead.

they don't know. He never came out, but he hung out with girls and most people assumed he was probably gay. he tested positive for the flu after not being able to shake a cold 2 weeks, took a turn for the worst and died within a month of appearing to be a completely healthy 24 year old.
I"m not saying a healthy 21 year old would never die from the flu, just that if they do, then they probably weren't "healthy". A truly healthy 21 year olds immune system can handle the flu. If they are dying from it, it's b/c something was off in their body, and they weren't as healthy as they appeared to be. It sucks.
