Obama failed to deliver on his healthcare promises. That said, Trump will fail also. Premiums will be significantly higher by this time next year and Im willing to make a ban bet on it.

My premium is already at $1,100 per month. If it doubles I'm better off paying out of pocket for just about everything.

Here's a little context as to how it affects me:
I am above average in income earned...
My monthly premium for 2017 will require me to work 3 days (after tax) each month to pay for it...
My deductible is so high that I'll never meet it barring some significant health problem...
Bottom line - the entire program was designed to have productive people provide benefits to slackers.

From what I hear Obama post presidency will be sitting on the board of a major Insurance corporation. This was his plan all along. I was told by a very educated individual on this subject, "if anyone actually has to pay the penalty, fire your accountant"
