Not trying to scare anyone from their annual pilgrimage to the land of white and linen family beach photos, but water quality test results for the most popular beaches are available.

I saw that, seems staying home and swimming in a sewerage lagoon would save money.

Looks like every sample in Walton county, with the exception or Miramar Beach, was taken near a lake outlet. Of course there is going to be more contamination where the coastal lakes drain into the gulf.

So, your saying it is ok to dump the do-do in the lakes but overflow will push the doodie on to the beaches. Seems to be a shitty solution all around. Thanks Obama

Just got back, Swam nowhere near a dune lake (Grayton’s dune lake doesn’t drain into the gulf right now) and the water was nice. Paddleboarded me arse off, sore AF.

Wait till your balloon knot shows the signs of infection, you will be scooting across the carpet like a dog with worms.

I just spent last week at seacrest, the clarity of the water could not be better in my humble opinion

we rented a kayak and went out some 500 yards past the 2nd sand bar, you can see the bottom

so this report doesn't jive with out first hand experience

Spent last week in Destin, no flesh eating bacteria here....

They were saying anyone with weak immune system or if you have a cut you need to be careful. Cover cuts with liquid bandage.

Unless I missed something, this is from 2018 and are not specific testing but estimates of percentage chances of unsafe swimming days.

It's safer just to buy your 30A stickers online until the water quality improves.

Umm, that’s not how it works.

Clarity or lack there of has nothing to do with water contamination.

Water clarity and harmful pollutants are not mutually exclusive. They can both happen at the same time.
