Shouldn’t it be “he has risen”?

Ummm...

That said, I would like to thank God for dying for our sins. We certainly didn't (and still don't) deserve the sacrifice of His Son.

How do we even know that we should be calling night, day, and day, night?

The clock is so much a construct of man. I hate minutes.

Shouldn't the thread be titled "HE IS DEAD"?

Depending on who you read, the date of death varies.

One book that I read suggests that he died on April 3, 33 AD. Regardless, his death occurred somewhere around 30 AD plus or minus a few years. So, no, he did not die nor did he rise (if you believe that) 2018 years ago.

He also wasn't born 2018 years ago either, but that's a thread and argument for another day.

you are a dozen years early.

I want to live to new year's eve 2031, but probably won't.

because every 2,000 years something big happens in the bible.

if something doesn't happen by new year's eve 2031, then the bible is just a self help book on how to live a good life, and not a prophetic book.

New year's eve 2031 is gonna be the greatest day in history because we will know if christianity is just politics or if it indeed supernatural.

Some one must have been watching a 0 A.D. CNN special report on YouTube that some one archived. It was taped in stone back in those days.

Is there an accepted general age range of Jesus around the time of his execution? Somewhere around 30 years old?

Pontius Pilate was prefect from 26 to 36.

John the Baptist died around 30AD, but it is almost universally accepted that he baptized Jesus.

Of course, it is doubtful he was born on "year 0", but it probably isn't too far off from 2,018 years ago.
