Still haven’t answered my question.

When young girls are being raped by a stranger, or even their stepfather, how do you think God feels when he is watching the entire thing go down when she is screaming for help?

Why does he not save the girl? Why does he side with the criminal?

If he sits there and watches it happen and does not stop it, does he take sick twisted pleasure in it?

Good news!! AI confirms!

quote:

Yes, according to the historical accounts in the New Testament and the testimony of the earliest Christians, Jesus did rise from the dead. That’s the central claim of Christianity, and it’s what the apostles and the writers of the Gospels asserted as eyewitness-based fact, not myth or later legend. But “really” is doing a lot of work here—it’s ultimately a question that sits at the intersection of history, philosophy, theology, and personal belief. No one can prove or disprove it like a math equation or a lab experiment, because it’s a singular event in history.

Go read the bible. It’ll explain all of that to you.

I don’t claim to speak for God.

I don’t pretend to be able to explain those instances.

You might also ask why God doesn’t stop the drunk or reckless driver.

My Faith is in many things that are hard understand. God could have save his only Son but did not. That same Son rose from the dead. Prove those things to the skeptics.

Part of Faith is acceptance of what cannot be understood.

I would say that you the earthly conclusion to your question would likely end in nihilism, and I’d hate to try and square the corner that would come with abuses in that.

You seem to have a very Ancient Greek attitude towards deity, in the Judeo Christian traditions humans don’t exist for Gods amusements.

It’s really simple. God gave us all the power of free will. For better and for worse…..you do not get to pick and choose free will.

GumbeauxGuy - We, as Christians do not have all the answers and you as an atheist don't have the answers either. That's what we call faith. It doesn't have to make sense and it never will. One day I will get the answer to all my questions. If the rapist that you are referring to was a Christian, do you think he would rape? Only God knows why the world is like it is. I believe in the Resurrection and I know that good and bad things will happen to me and then I will die just like you. It is then, and then only that we will know what this life that we lived was all about. Try to relax a little more and have more faith that there is a God that created you and I and life will start to make more sense even when things go bad.
