If the bill, the way it has been introduced, only allows for resident's within the city to vote on monuments staying or going as opposed to the parish, this is bad news for New Orleans right?
And for most major metropolitan areas within the state, correct?
I say that, because many black people are of the belief that monuments are racist and oppressive.

thats how i take it. but that is also what is City owned, vs Parish owned vs state owned.
but the last guy did point out that it would be bad new for him.

That is incorrect. Most black people just want to live their lives, and DGAF about any monuments

So you think voter turn out would be low?
And I agree with you ... the majority of black people just want to be left alone to do what they want ... and that's fine.
It's the social justice idiots, both black and white, that are the real issue.

This is going to be key.

This.
Tulane and Loyola are the incubation centers for these snowflakes.

What they would do if it were brought to a vote is attach something to it offering incentive for blacks to vote for removal. There would also be a big propaganda campaign leading up to it

There's two more proposed amendments about equal gender pay and medicinal marijuana.

first guy wants to amend so other topics could be voted on - voted down by the chair
send guy wants to ad automatic voter registration- voted down by the chair and backed by a house vote
third woman wants to add voting for a equal gender wage.

City or parish doesn't make a difference for Orleans because the City of New Orleans makes up the entirety of Orleans Parish.
