Bought her a 2014 Honda Odyssey brand new, was on my way to the gym and started hearing weird noise, at first I thought it was my son's iPad, but it wasn't. It's like a loud winding noise when I turn the heater on. The higher I turn the blower the louder it gets. Any ideas from my mechanic friends? I'm pretty sure the heater has aids!

Update: just got out of gym and it started doing the noise again, but not as loud. Turned the blower on high and don't hear it anymore.

Doesn't make the same sound if the heater is not selected? Like when you only have the fan blowing?

A piece of paper or something may have gotten sucked into the blower motor.

Had that happen to me once and it made all kinds of noise.

It's likely one of two things, or both. You may have some leaves in your in take causing this.

If each vent has a manual dial to adjust airflow, play around with these to see if that fixes the noise. Sometimes when vents are 90% shut, it can cause a whistling sound.

sounds like one of your wife's side pieces' used condom is stuck in the blower fan.

Should just be a few screws to get access and see.

Blower motor. Have your wife blow the local mechanic and he'll fix her blower motor.
