Drunk a few times.

Once on a roadtrip cross country nonstop except fueling and changing driver. I'm counting those 3 hours.

Yes.

Went on a camping "vacation". We got to a camp ground that we were going to sleep at and leave in the morning.. too late. There were 3 vehicles and everyone slept in them.

Yup. Photographed a Rice Regional one year. I was in the media room because it was air conditioned....and they accidentally locked me in. After the lights went out I had to climb a fence to get out to my car. It was still ridiculously hot, but I slept in the parking lot nonetheless.

By choice. Waiting for visitation intervals to come up at hospital. Wife, fil, daughter and myself took nap in our Tahoe. It was cold that day so cracking the windows made for a nice 90 minute nap. The choppers coming and going were noisy as hell.

I've slept while wife drives during road trip.

Yes when they had that rest area by Gonzales. If I was really tired id nap there. Used to like to go to NOLA around 10pm then head back to BR around 3am.

1 - Yes
2 - Camping
3 - 1 night, multiple occasions
4 - Would put lots of pillows and blanket, it was a Durango so lots of room with the seats laid down. Much more comfortable than a tent on the ground.

Out of necessity when i was younger on road trips and such. Drove back from Colorado in one shot and we took turns sleeping in the back.

I have an old Land Rover that’s 2nd and 3rd rows fold completely flat. It’s got a shitty old tv too. Slide a small air mattress or sleeping pad in there and you’re good to go. Much better than camping

Yes, every chance I get. I will pull my boat up to 6 hours after work on a Friday just to fish for a weekend. I sleep in my vehicle at the launch when I arrive. Saturday night I sleep in my small boat beached or anchored. I eat the fish I catch or grill a ribeye on my small Weber in a park. I shower at a hotel pool and sleep in my car or boat again Saturday night. Fish again Sunday morning then drive home. Fun as hell. Wife thinks I’m crazy. She has no idea how peaceful that is to me.

1.

Yes. (I've slept in military vehicles all the time.)

2.

I've slept in my own car for about an hour for an enroute rest on a long car trip. Just safety.

3.

Too many to count if you consider military vehicles. Privately, just that one time that I recall (obviously, other than as a kid on long road trips for vacation).

4.

I'm a warrior.

1. Yes

2. I did not want to waste money on a hotel.

3. Two nights

4. Freaking terrible. Never could get comfortable. On the second night the temperature kept dropping so I would have to crank the engine to warm up. Combined 4 hours sleep for both nights.
