I started out with the HTC thunderbolt and moved on to the Pixel and now the S25 ultra. Never had an iPhone and never will.

to be completely fair, i feel like Google and Samsung’s phone hardware are both a year or several ahead of the iPhone. which is my reasoning going forward.

yup, time to mix it up. Adding an additional 5% battery life and a couple of features people have been asking for for a decade just doesn’t justify the several grand it cost for the new iphone.

Switched from iPhone to Pixel 7 Pro 3 years ago. Zero issues in the 3 years I've had this phone.

Hear that. Plus Samsung is mostly made in South Korea whereas the iPhone is mostly made in China.
So I'd rather buy from an ally of ours as opposed to an enemy.

I'm on my 3rd iteration of Samsung Galaxy. Me and my wife are the only ones the family not in the Apple cult. They constantly remind us of it, but the Google infrastructure alone is worth passing on Apple.

I never understood the fascination with FaceTime but if you've just got to see Braxton's face on his birthday, there are Android options.
There's Meet, Facebook Messenger, Google Chat, Viber, Tango, Zoom, and Whatsapp.

It's a solid phone but like I've said in other phone threads , the best pixel was the 3xl and improvements since then have been underwhelming and battery life has gotten worse.
