Have you ever lied about having a job?

This one time I was either in high school or just out of high school. I met some military recruiter at a golf course. I told him I had a job working at a golf course. He texted me trying to get on the course. I didn’t respond. I was dumb and he caught me red handed.
I guess subtle brag about having a job as a high school student got my pride at the time.

No, but I have several delinquent friends who I allow to use me as an employment reference whenever they need it. Tell me what job you were supposed to have and I will cover for you.

I lied to a military recruiter about being a circus clown. He was mad, but he got over it. Who doesn’t like going to the circus?
