I mean, come on. You are maybe the most qualified and you can't give me some advice?
If she gives the advice on here you don't have to go to the Dr. be charged like $200 for a 15 min. visit so they can tell you to get some rest and prescribe some antibiotics you may not even need just to charge you a little more and make it look like they did something.

I usually try to kill it on my own but I usually visit a Ent twice a year and get a shot

I should have done this. I hate taking antibiotics for 10 freaking days.

Do my symptoms sound like a sinus infection to you?

green/yellow phlegm, can't breathe out my nose,
Ummmmmm, anyone qualified to wipe their arse can diagnose that

That sounds pretty bad. If OTC meds aren't cutting it you need a doc visit.
And if antibiotics haven't worked for you in the past (like they don't work for me), skip them and go straight to the steroid shots in the hip.

Well I didn't really have any good meds last night when the symptoms hit me. Just took some Mucinex D about a half hour ago and I'm already feeling some relief of sinus pressure. If I can breathe and reduce that pressure in my ear I can ride this thing out with relative ease.

It must be going around.
Everyone around here has it.
Everyone else I know ran out and got an antibiotic.
I'm trying to gut it out with Mucinex DM, lots of fluids and a lot of sleep. I think I'm almost over it. Wanted to let my body and immune system do it's job. But it's been almost a week of suffering ... but I think I am almost over it.
Went though the some bad dizziness, a little fever, all that gunk coming out of my nose ... so yeah, it much be going around all over the country because I've got friends up in Michigan and Ohio who say they are going through the same thing right now.

At first I thought it was just my allergies. The past few weeks I've been experiencing some of the worst allergies I've ever had and earlier in the year than I usually start having them. I've had a few people relate that the same is true for them.
Then last night my head just turned into a goddamn pressure cooker.
I usually don't get bad colds so hoping I can shake in just a few days.

If it comes back tonight, though, get a visit. The OTC's only work for a while.

one of the dumbest things to do
antibiotics should only be used when seriously ill, not with just a bad cold
because, it will eff up your immune function, so when you do really need the antibiotic, it will fail to work as needed...

We've got it out here in Cali as well. I fought it for a few weeks then went to the dr. Didn't actually realize it was a sinus infection. Thought it was allergies because of our crappy air and no rain.
Right now I think 3 or 4 of us in my office have it.

I usually try to load up on OTC stuff and see if I can kick it first.
Start taking 2000mg of Vitamin C every 4 hours along with your choice of sinus meds. Usually works for me, but I try start taking it as soon as I start feeling bad.
If that doesn't work, go get a shot and some stronger meds.

I've already started crushing these Mucinex tablets so they can be snorted.
I've got some apple cider vinegar that I'm going to try and put straight into my bloodstream with a syringe.
I'm going down swinging.

I had something similar. Almost labeled me walking pneumonia but the breathing treatment that they game me helped.
I left with two shots, an expensive cough Med as Marcof wasn't helping and abx.
I felt like crap for a week before I went and almost for a week after.
GO!

I had a sinus infection similar to what you are describing a couple of years ago...it was absolutely miserable. the pounding pain in my head was just damn hard to deal with.
I ultimately took a decongestant, drank the shite out of some fluids, and just rode it out...
at one point, when my sinuses unclogged, I actually heard them deflate and the pain went away immediately...of course, I gagged and spit out what looked like a green oyster of snot immediately after that...
