Have you ever built a chicken coop?

I'm getting 12 chickens in a few weeks and I want to build the coop myself rather than paying out the arse for one from Tractor Supply. What says the OT?

get 1 rooster it will keep more of the snakes and fox critters away. put a roof on it.

You know why a chicken coop only has 2 doors? If it had 4 doors it'd be a chicken sedan

Chicken Coup? I read somewhere in a old thread were some old school posters tried to start a website to compete with Tigerdropping's. I understand it was a failure and from what I understand Chicken banned their arse anyway.

the one we built when i was a kid was basically just wood and wire.

I built my own. Half a day and you should be able to do it. Just draw out kinda what you want a piece of paper and go from there.

Ripped up a bunch of pallets for boards, cut a small tree to make a roosting bar across the top. framed in a run with 2x4's and wire mesh. Looks good and took a few hours of work
