I feel old. Happened at a bad time. At least the Korean aging system isn’t the one used in the USA.

Therapy

Although I've had flashbacks and nightmares about it when new stressful things have happened in my life.

My buddy, who I was supposed to be with at the time (was home from college and had studies so bailed on him) killed himself, four of my friends and an elderly couple in a horrible head on accident. I felt guilty for months thinking had I been with him it wouldn't have happened and went into depression. I went through therapy, even hypnosis. I think I'm still under some sort of hypnosis as I can will myself to hear the therapist in my head and get so calm that my heart rate and blood pressure will drop significantly.

Had a player of mine die in my hands (performer CPR for the entire time he was down until paramedics arrived) at my team's practice.

I drank A LOT for 3 months afterwards. Knocked my (now) wife up. That "sobered" me up.

I found “not thinking about it” to be a simple and effective cope.

Not really, and I’m a little nervous that I’m probably “due”.

Yes, my local gym either went out of business or burned - that happened a couple of times.

My local bar burned -- it's mostly smoke damage, so, I hope it can re-open soon.
