Depression, and yes!
Also had a near death experience when a water logged piece of an old limb from a huge tree fell on my convertible top, pierced it with a pointed spike, and just missed my head. I continue to wonder this day why I was spared certain death.

I guess traumatic would be more like having a gun put to your head while coming around a corner.
My five month old did have his chest sawed open, heart stopped, put on a heart & lung bypass machine, and then had a hole in his ventricle wall repaired.
I guess that's more stressful as frick than traumatic, but I still get antsy every time I get near the medical center in Houston.
