Hypnosis is simply the mind being liberated from the realities of constraint caused by the conscience mind. You need to understand like water.

Ever drove to work in the morning, got to your destination, and asked yourself how you got there because you were not paying attention or spaced out?

That's being hypnotized.

About a third of the country thinks Donald Trump is literally Hitler. What happens when they wake up from their hypnosis?

A friend of mine was hypnotized on stage at the comedy club over there off College. This was the most conservative guy I knew and he literally dropped his pants and some other hypnotized gal spanked his a$$ everytime the hypnotist said a special word

He had zero recollection of it afterwards and was flushed red with embarrassment after being told what he did.

Hypnotizing is wide spread. Neurologist have extensive brain studies of delta theta gamma etc brain waves and how when under the influence of specific brain wave patterns "real" hypnotism is occurring.

The most common, and it has happened to 100% of the people reading this, is the brain wave pattern a human falls into while watching television.

Real hypnotism isn't barking like a dog or acting like a chicken on stage when someone snaps their fingers, it's opening the brain to subconscious suggestion, like commercials.

Back in the 80's the Soviets programmed me to be a roving assassin, but fortunately the USSR collapsed before they could activate me. I still get nervous though when I get a phone call from an unknown number.

From what I've read, your subconscious won't let you do something against your core values or otherwise drastic measures. I'm certainly no expert though. I've seen the hypnotist at the Funny Bone and was skeptical too.

Only by Biggie's words. Sometimes.

Guess that why they're broke and he's so paid.

Yes. It was very relaxing and I felt like I just had slept 8 hours. As I recall, you won't do anything you wouldn't ordinarily do. It just opens up your subconscious mind.

Bogus.

Does not exist. And anyone that's ever been on stage and hypnotized has been in on the gag.

Hypnosis absolutely works. Requires a a capable hypnotist and a receptive subject. But with that caveat, it can be a great treatment adjunct. I've used it. There is no question it works.

Now if you're talking about a Jimmy Swaggart character swinging a pocket watch on stage to hypnotize an entire audience . . . then, no, it doesn't work.
