Working at a bank when a dude walks in to cash a few checks. Asked for his ID and he says "you don't know who I am?" I said no. His reply: " I've only been the track and field coach at La Tech for x-amount of years!" Real smug. I said, well I'm a ULM guy soooo.......

it works
if you act like youre supposed to be there, most low level security wont challenge you

Yeah, I agree, most people are spineless.

see, you've already submitted to my superiority

Agreement is not submission, maybe you just have delusions of grandeur?

She pulled the "my husband is a lawyer" phrase as if it would magically make the item appear.
I called out an exterminator publicly after scamming my parents. I thought I knew the guy well and trusted him but he watered down the chemicals he sprayed and overcharged $50 from what he quoted.
This cousin of his not only tells me "my husband is a Navy SEAL" (because I mention my father is a disabled combat vet) as if that makes it better for her cousin to be a piece of shite. She also says she is a business owner....selling Avon.

Back when I was wee lad, working the technology dept. at Office Depot, Mr. Cleo Fields interrupted me helping a customer, asking where something was.
Told him where it was, and that I'd be right over to help.
He asked if I knew who he was, and I said "Yea, my next customer."
That does seem like something a scum bag like Cleo Fields would do.

You should tell her that the barista that served you at Starbucks this morning is also a lawyer.

Apparently i had a 10-15 minute conversation with jim irsay at a jaguars colts game. Apparently he chucked his lighter at tsa and needed to borrow mine. As we were heading back into the suites i asked who he was pulling for, and that's when he introduced himself
My friends still laugh at me for being so oblivious, but I'm not a huge nfl guy.

so at what point was it relevant for you to say my father is a disabled combat vet?

Who is the most notable person that has done that to you?

I was in line at a gas station when the guy in front of me was trying to buy beer without an ID. He asked the cashier " Do you know who I am?" and she said no. It was David Keith.

Our company does a lot of high-end residential work. We've done a lot of work for celebrities around town. It's usually the C-list people that play the "important person" card. Had one a couple months back that was like 2nd or 3rd place in American Idol. He asked if I could rush his order because he was important. No man, my mom is important. You're a nobody. I didn't even know who he was and had to look him up when I got back to the office.
Unless the contractor hiring me to do your work is a good customer of mine, you go to the back of the line just like everybody else.

I've heard someone say this in a heated arguement. I had no idea who the guy was. I did know the person he said it to, but out of all things.. It was an argument over a parking space.. The guy who dropped the "do you know who I am" actually pulled a dick move, came out of nowhere and tried to get into the parking space as the other person was turning in. Both parties got out of their vehicle. Guy 1 was like: "What the frick are you doing? I was turning into the parking spot and then you come out of nowhere and tried to pull in and I almost hit you. Why were you trying to get into my parking spot?" Guy 2 was like: "You parking spot? You were not occupying the spot yet so it was anyone's parking spot". They threw out some "frick yous" and then Guy 2 dropped "look you little bitch, do you know who the frick I am?". They almost started fighting, the mall police arrived on the scene before they did and made Guy 2 park somewhere else.
So who was it?
