Given the responses, why would we? Too many, she's a whore. Too few, a prude. Whatever number, multiply by 3 and then don't believe it anyway. So, just pick a number you can live with, and let that be her number. Easy peasy.

I met my wife as a freshmen before college classes had started. So we both lost prime years.

Given that, I don't know why 100 seems high to anyone especially for a girl? College girl goes out let's say 3 nights a week, and goes home with a guy every 5 nights. That's 3 a month, 30 a year and that's on the low end.

Now you date seriously for awhile, that hurts the number A LOT. But then you take a girl that's 25-30, and 100-150 is easily attainable and that's only 15-20 a year. I mean that's 1.5 a month. Is that really THAT bad?

My wife used to ask me I’d tell her 4 or 5 . She would say you’re lying, I’d say ok. That number I think I’ll take with me, she doesn’t need to know and I don’t care about her number

Well no shite, but if she came out with a number over a 100, that wouldn't be an issue to your ego? Granted, I don't know ya or how old or long you've been married either. I just think out of love, shame, and betterment of the present day, (the greater majority) of women lie because men can't handle it.
