I had two N95 masks left over from a failed carpentry experiment.

Bought a box of fifty in January. Wife said I was nuts. I said better safe than sorry.

She’s not saying shite now. Especially when we need something at the grocery.

We have N95 masks that we've had for a very long time before this was a thing.

But we are preppers and have things that would make y'all surprised.

I'm not a high risk person and I'm staying at home as much as possible so I figured I'd let someone else have mine.

Not that I could find one anyway.

I have a box of disposable masks I bought last year. I think I have around 40-50.

They are for me when I do yard work, though, and I intend for them to stay that way.

If I wear a mask, I’m going full on respirator. Hopefully it’ll make other people uncomfortable.

I can't find masks or toilet paper, so I'm recycling my old TP into masks.

Masks in public are to prevent your droplets from getting to others. So yea, literally just about anything over your mouth and nose will accomplish this. I wouldnt worry about whether it is n95 or not.

N95 certified is the only mask that can prevent you from getting it with proven effectiveness, but unless you do everything by the book, never touch it, dispose everytime it might have been contaminated, have a perfect fit, no facial hair; it wont be that effective.

I think my wife is the same now. She’s always thought I was nuts for prepping for weird shot that she swore “would never happen.”

Four months of food and enough masks for a few months now says otherwise.

Who am I kidding. She probably still thinks I’m insane.
