Some posters apparently had their sarcasm detector turned off.

Really need to go back in time and tell the Founders to add a clause that corporations can't be used as a shell to trample on your Constitutional rights.

The answer is they’ve all gone too far with the surveillance state. But the bus cams aren’t new. I got a ticket from one in Baton Rouge like 6 years ago. It was on a 4-lane road with a center turning lane, and I didn’t stop because there were 4 lanes between me and the bus. But if there’s not a grass median, you will be ticketed. It was like $300.

I know what some of you are thinking. "What about the fourth amendment? Isn't a warrant required for the government to track your location everywhere?".

No. You see these surveillance cameras are owned by venture capital backed tech companies. It is their cameras and data. The governments just allow them to be installed on their property and then buy the rights to access the data.

Nothing to worry about.

They've been around for a while, but only trigger a photo when there's a violation.
Now, the camera is running all the time. Scanning and selling data.

Just another thing of intrusion. If you possess a cell phone governmental entities can get your data for prosecution in criminal matters. Was never designed for that (it was designed for proprietary purposes) but the government uses it for data collection on the whereabouts of individuals. The thing is, it is a flawed system. The cell phone tower pings are dependent upon use, topography, and weather. Some baws have been placed at places they were not even present. It is some scary stuff.
