Yes those pieces of polymer or steel sure are scary. Would it scare you even more if someone owned more than 100 of these pieces of polymer of steel?

I thought the same thing - I mean buying that much ammunition didn’t raise any flags?

Why should it? There have been days where I’ve bought in excess of 2k rounds for restocking or trips to the ranch with friends.

Im sure someone could scrounge up some money before doing a shooting anticipating death or jail time for life. I think we are talking $5,000 here. Im not really on the conspiracy train for this one.

Edit: Id need some solid proof to believe this was a planned thing from some government advocate.

I wonder how much all that weighed - was he carrying that many loaded mags along with two rifles?

One of my shotguns has side saddle and a stock saddle - holds 8 2 3/4" rounds in the tube and another 12 in the saddles with a light and an optic. That sum-bitch is heavy as hell. My tiny 5'1" gf can barely even shoulder the thing. It's not a gun I'd want to carry around for very long.

I don't know about the rifles but if he was carrying all 375 rounds- around 10 pounds, maybe a little more counting the magazines.

I'm not necessarily disagreeing with your premise, but do you think you could hit on any other major political talking points? Let's figure out a way to wedge abortion in there too.

It’s not far fetched, not sure why some act like it is. Assuming he lives with his grandmother and didn’t have hardly any bills, he was probably grossing $300 a week ($10 hr x 30 hr week). No state income tax in Texas. Could be taking home $800/month or more. Could save for the guns in 4-5 months.

Back during Columbine, fire-and-brimstone preachers would say something like “schools have taught children they are animals, so why do you expect them to act differently?” The idea being that teaching evolution had led to Columbine.

Granted, it didn’t help matters that Eric Harris wore a shirt that said “Natural Selection” during the massacre, but I’d wager $100 to anyone who says they can prove that Harris ever actually read any Darwin or other evolutionary theorist.

Edit: Reading the book Columbine by Dave Cullen, I’m almost certain that Harris believed in some sort social Darwinism, but only what he could gather from back of the book descriptions and what he could clean from synopses on the Internet. But I doubt he could gather enough attention span to read an actual book on the subject.

Probably. He’s making income. I remember they were getting students when I was in college to sign up for credit cards to get free pizza. I just put a fake name. But some people might have got one.

My AR type rifles with scopes are 9.6 and 11.2 lbs. Add gear and ammo, that stuff is heavy.

He was a dropout that worked at Wendy's for over a year. Considering he spent that entire time posting pictures on the internet of the guns he was planning to buy, it's not that farfetched that he actually saved up and bought them. My son saved 6 grand for a car working at Subway over a summer because, like this kid, he didn't have any bills to pay.

And this kid was probably way more obsessed with buying those guns than my son was about buying a car.

Yeah, I've spent a lot of time lugging similar rifles and gear. They get heavy quick.

You can get all you want with a couple of clicks of the mouse and a credit card. I just got in 1000 rds of Norma SS109 5.56 about a month ago.

Probably so, but that is not the shooter. That is trans artist who has Reddit account that people pulled photos off of and depicted as the shooter. Congrats, you got fooled.
