I have numerous stories myself but not like yours. I just remember pissing at the clubs and always seeing shite running on the walls.

I would argue that anything not from the late mid-to late 60's early 70 really was not the true pharmaceutical grade since once the Feds knew what was going on it had to go way underground.....anything after that was IMO combinations of other things meant to mimic the real shite....mushrooms were a total different trip/high. Psilocybinwas great but not the same. Unless I was absolutely sure that what I was taking was really pure LSD....not sure I'd risk it....the stuff the kids take now is scary....made by someone in a bathtub or in a kitchen somewhere. I;ve heard arsenic, strychnine, rat posison, coke just to name some.
Real MDMA when t first came out a club drug before it got when it became part of the DEA/FDA hit list was amazing as well......It was told that the stuf we got had it's origins with the later great Ray Manzarek.
Rolling was great back then......I'd be very cautious and more than likely stick with 'shrooms picked with someone you know is knowledgable since those bad boys can kill ya quick too.

No regrets as I became a better person and always learned about myself, the world, and life when dropping. I always think it's interesting having a conversation with someone that has vs hasn't before...you only know if you know
I always liked it better than shrooms too. LSD is much more potent imo and just perfect for a festival setting or out in nature.
The only time I lost my shite was on this shite called DOB. It was life changing...fun at times, other times terrifying like I was losing grip on reality. Very introspective

Never had a bad trip of LSD, but I did on shrooms when i ate a quarter ounce in one sitting. It stopped being fun after the first 3 hours and it fricked me up for an entire weekend.

There isn't a single person that regrets taking LSD.

Only if you have a good heart. A lot of speed in it. Don't know if one could get the real deal these days.

Never touched the stuff. Had a female friend who did it a lot when younger. 40 years later the effects are really showing.

It's the only drug I don't regret doing.

No! I was lucky enough to take some of the strongest acid ever made, the Owsley brand, when I lived in S.F.
I later had a connection to the Brotherhood of Love and their famous Orange Sunshine product.
These acids were truly nuclear bombs for the human brain, and they created the most epic mind-bending experiences in my life.
Today, at age 66, I would gladly take a hit of Owsley or Orange, knowing full well that it might push me over the edge to total, permanent insanity. It would be well worth the trip.

Yes and no.
One of my regrets was punching out of friend of mine who had it coming. He was also 5 foot 4 and insanely Napoleonic -- like many short people, he always tried to argue with "tall friends" so he could look "right". We were fighting over which mailbox was the one actually doing the talking. But he really hated my idea that it was the white mailbox and not the brown one. He swung and hit me in the ear. The ear HURTS. And I hit him in the mouth and he bled and had a tooth knocked out. We were cool 2-3 days later, but it goes to show you how well people can read LSD. He was short and not that good-looking and he never wanted people to know it...leave it to LSD to spell out everything wrong with you that you never wanted people to know. I also regret going into a K Mart tripping my balls off and allowing people who knew me to see me act an arse. It was 20 years ago, but I still wish I had just stayed at the house I was at. One of my good friend's mothers still thinks there is something wrong with me...maybe she's right. I doubt any average person can say, "hey look! He's tripping!", but it certainly feels that way when you are. Acid can be very intense.
Yes, I like that LSD was able to let me see a persecptive that I ordinarily never would.
NO, I hate that I messed up my brain just a bit. I did peyote, shrooms, liquid blotter, etc. It all takes a toll.
Now X and LSD combined? Hello, Sweet Baby Jesus.

When HUnter Thompson's lsawyer told him that in the book/movie (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas), I knew exactly how Thompson (Duke) felt after he took too much of the adrenacrome. The moment when you know you fricked up, but someone else still points it out without the care of using litotes.

While that's true nowadays with so designer drugs like 25i-NBOME and stuff like that, it's only a very recent thing. Chemists like William Pickard were making legit LSD for a long time.
