you're so not money, mikey, and you don't even realize it.

Don't seek out conversation, but don't ghost her if she initiates. Make sure you don't tell her too much, though, or else you'll run out of things to talk about on the date.

I think I have many things I would like to talk to her about actually

My gosh. How old are you and have you had a date before? Do what feels natural.

Do I try to engage in conversation till then or just let it sit and hold off? Met her last Saturday. Hung out couple hours. Exchanged numbers. Only conversation since then has been setting up the Friday date

The premise was his buddies tell him wait a long fricking time to call a 'baby' after you get her number.
Of course he calls her 829 times or some shite within hours.

If she really liked you, she would've gone home with you that night.

I'm being serious.

Not looking for the smash and run, boss
She actually asked for my number and expressed a desire to hang out sometime. Her text seems like she is interested, bro

She's gonna bang 3 different Chad's between now and Saturday night when you pay for her dinner and drinks and get a peck on the cheek.

This.

The way kids today text and social media each other at the drop of the hat even with people they barely know, this is kind of a throw back question. Surprised ya'll haven't kept in touch. Especially if there is a lot you want to talk about.

My best suggestion is send her a brief casual text about what she would like to do / where she would like to go on the date. And if ya'll have already set the basics. ie: dinner, movie, bowling,13the gate, whatever, then ask her something more specific - what type of restaurant she likes, any movie she wants to see that's out, etc.

One old trick I used to use on first dates sometimes - if the time of ya'll date allows it, reverse the order and do movie first, then dinner. That way you have a built in topic to talk about if it turns out really awkward.

Oh, and if you've been on TD since '08, hopefully you know that a lot of the posters on here are pretty clueless when it comes to women. Take responses with a grain of salt.

Then she would've definitely banged you that night. I've been on nights a few months, and Waffle House waitresses are starting to look hot.
