You'd have to be an idiot to buy the first few years of any complete overhaul/redesign.

16 problems and 8 open recalls.

And he's sitting there wearing a Toyota shirt while his shitbox is getting bought back.

I wish Ford would recall these sorry assed 5.0's like in my F150 that everyone that owns one knows they stall. Dealer wants 4K to replace cam phasers, timing chain, and solenoids. Don't buy a Ford F150 with a 5.0. I did, to avoid issues with their ecoboost engines, and have had nothing but problems with the 5.0.

Same here; had to to replace cam phasers, timing chain, and solenoids last year because of stalling issues.

What year did this issue with the coyote start? I had a 2016 and the power train was great.

how much Toyota is spending

key word there. Ford would be telling people they just need to add oil every 500 miles until the warranty period is up.

I would trust Asian car companies for small sedans or mini SUV’s, maybe even one of those tiny trucks. When you start getting into full size trucks and SUVs I would go with Ford or Chevy. They just don’t drive these types of vehicles in Asia.

I have a 2016 as well. It happened last year. I had 175,000 miles on it at the time. I have 210,000 now.

Brake line ruptured last week in Cabela's parking lot. Lucky it didn't happen a few min later when I was on I-10.

The V8s and full size powertrain for the LX/Landcruiser/Tundra that Toyota/Lexus just had to replace due to CAFE efficiency changes were some of the most statistically reliable vehicles ever built.

Biden F’d it up to placate the climate change people.
